Evil Laboratory filled with evil things...

Skulls,
Brains,

Eyeballs,
Heart,
Stomach,
Legs,
Hands,
Muscles,
Skinned turtles,
Preserved eels,
Mutilated fishes,

Things that were once alive put in jars and sealed...

That should be their final resting place...

We were brought to the new WUST campus yesterday for a tour. And oh boy! It was extremely big and beautiful. The school even had a large lake in the middle of their campus. Could i ever find such thing in Ngee Ann Poly? NO WAY! We were first brought to the Museum of WUST History where they have interesting facts of the school. Their major achievements, important alumni and of course, their history are still well recognised up till this day.

After that, we were brought to the Medical College where the dean of the school was waiting for us. He welcomed all of us with open arms and a wide smile on his face. That's one thing i have observed in China ever since i came here. The locals here are very very hospitable and friendly when it comes to inviting new guests. No matter how different they are from us, they still invite us in with open arms and a wide smile on their faces. That's something i truly admire down here indeed. If I'm not wrong, there is a campaign launched in Singapore just recently in the hope to make Singaporeans kinder. When it comes to being hospitable, Singaporeans can never be at the top but it is the opposite for the Chinese locals here. Looks like we have to take a leaf out their books.

He brought us to this Biology Lab that was filled with jars, jars and more jars. On closer inspection did i realise that it filled with specimens that were once alive! Everything from skull to feet, animals to babies were placed on display there. It was defnitely freaky to those things. Never did i dream that i would come to such a place in my entire life. I did not even dare take a photo of the things that were displayed there except for the skulls. What if i took a picture of a head and it blinks at me when i see the photo again? Nevertheless, it was mind-captivating but i guess i will never set my foot in such a place again. =/

With that done, we presented our slides about Singapore that we prepared for the local students. Hopefully, it had opened their eyes to the world outside and beyond and how beautiful Singapore is. After that, we had a small walk around the campus. Tonnes of photos were taken of course.

Then? Back to our sweet dorms to crack our heads on the common test which we had today. Was it easy? I don't know. Up to me to know. Up to you to find out =)
